Accessibility
This site is built to be usable by every business owner in Southwest Virginia, including those who use a keyboard, a screen reader, magnification, or reduced motion settings.
What is in place
- Semantic headings with one main heading per page.
- Labels on every form field, with errors announced in text next to the field.
- Visible focus outlines and full keyboard navigation.
- Color contrast targeted at WCAG 2.1 level AA.
- Respect for the operating system reduced motion preference.
- Descriptive alternative text on meaningful images.
Ongoing work
This site is early and will keep changing. Accessibility is treated as a requirement rather than a finishing step, and each new section is checked before it is published.
Reporting a barrier
If any part of this site is difficult to use, please say so and it will be corrected. A public contact address for accessibility reports will be published before launch.
